The Australian Cobberdog is a loving, gentle, sensitive, affectionate, playful breed of dog that is eager to please, making them the perfect family dog.
Australian Cobberdog foundation breeders helped develop this unique breed whose primary focus was to maintain great health and temperament. They are now a registered breed in development stages which is overseen by the MDBA (Master Dog Breeders & Associates).
Their relaxed manner, mild temperament, need for comfort, and high intuition make these dogs ideal for therapy, service and assistance work. Apart from their amazing traits, they are also bred purposefully to have a strong human connection.
Their size can range from small (12-16in, 15-28lbs), medium (16-20in, 30-46lbs) to standard (20-25in, 48-68lbs). Coat color ranges from red, cream, brown, white, raven and many more! Their beautiful fleece, low shedding, low odor, and low allergenic coat makes them the ideal companion!
Many mistake this breed for an Australian Labradoodle, whose breed may elicit unpredictabilities in behavior and coat qualities. While as, the Australian Cobberdogs were bred for multiple generations and maintain certain DNA characteristics, confirming that we are able to predict the amazing qualities that they provide with their own unique genetic blueprint. They are a result of years of well considered crossings from at least 4-7 different infusions.
